CCPA Information
Last updated: April 2026
This page explains how the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), applies to your use of tidioreviews.com. This page supplements our main privacy policy.
What Is CCPA/CPRA?
The California Consumer Privacy Act, strengthened by the California Privacy Rights Act of 2020, is a data privacy law that grants California residents specific rights over their personal information. It applies to businesses that collect personal information from California consumers and meet certain revenue or data processing thresholds.
While tidioreviews.com is a small independent review site, we believe in transparency. We provide this information so California residents understand exactly what data we collect and what rights they have.
Categories of Personal Information Collected
We collect minimal personal information through normal use of this site. The categories that may apply are:
- Identifiers — IP addresses are recorded in server logs maintained by our hosting provider (Cloudflare). We do not collect names, email addresses, postal addresses, or other direct identifiers through normal site browsing.
- Internet or electronic network activity — Browsing history on our site, including pages visited, referring URLs, browser type, device type, and session duration. This information comes from server logs and basic analytics.
We do not collect:
- Financial information or payment details
- Geolocation data beyond what can be inferred from IP addresses
- Biometric data
- Professional or employment information
- Education information
- Audio, visual, or similar data
We do not operate user accounts, and we do not require you to submit any personal information to use this site.
Sale and Sharing of Personal Information
We do not sell your personal information. We have not sold personal information in the preceding 12 months and have no plans to do so.
We do not share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not use advertising trackers, and we do not participate in data broker arrangements.
Your Rights Under CCPA/CPRA
As a California resident, you have the following rights:
- Right to know — You can request that we disclose what personal information we have collected about you, the categories of sources, our business purpose for collecting it, and the categories of third parties with whom we share it.
- Right to delete — You can request that we delete personal information we have collected from you, subject to certain exceptions (such as data needed for security purposes or legal compliance).
- Right to correct — You can request that we correct inaccurate personal information we maintain about you.
- Right to opt-out of sale or sharing — While we do not sell or share personal information, you have the right to direct us not to do so. Since we already do not engage in these practices, no opt-out action is needed on your part.
- Right to limit use of sensitive personal information — We do not collect sensitive personal information as defined by CCPA/CPRA.
- Right to non-discrimination — We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your CCPA/CPRA rights. You will not receive different pricing, a different quality of service, or any other penalty for making a privacy request.
How to Exercise Your Rights
To submit a request to know, delete, or correct your personal information, contact us at:
Email: privacy@tidioreviews.com
Please describe your request clearly and include enough information for us to verify your identity. We will acknowledge your request within 10 business days and provide a substantive response within 45 calendar days. If we need additional time, we will notify you of the extension and the reason for it. The maximum response period is 90 calendar days from the date of your original request.
You may submit up to two verifiable consumer requests within a 12-month period.
Authorized Agent Requests
You may designate an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf. If an authorized agent submits a request for you, we may require:
- Written permission signed by you authorizing the agent to act on your behalf
- Verification of your identity directly with us
- Proof that the agent is registered with the California Secretary of State (if applicable)
We may deny a request from an agent who cannot provide adequate proof of authorization.
Verification Process
When you submit a request, we need to verify your identity to protect against fraudulent requests. Because we collect minimal personal information and do not maintain user accounts, our verification process works as follows:
- We will match the information you provide in your request against information we already have (such as IP address or other technical identifiers).
- For requests to know or delete, we require a reasonable degree of certainty that you are the person whose data is at issue.
- If we cannot verify your identity with reasonable certainty, we will explain why and suggest alternative steps.
Because our data collection is limited to technical identifiers like IP addresses, it may be difficult to link specific data to a specific individual. We will work with you in good faith to fulfill your request to the extent possible.
