Some of the links on TidioReviews.com are affiliate links. That means if you click through and sign up or make a purchase, I may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. This page explains exactly how that works, how it relates to the independent reviews published here, and what it means for you as a reader.

What are affiliate links?

When I link to Tidio or another product mentioned on this site, some of those links carry a tracking code. If you click one and then sign up or buy, the vendor knows the referral came from here and pays a commission. For Tidio specifically, that referral runs through Tidio's affiliate program.

This costs you nothing extra. The price is identical whether you use my link or go straight to the vendor — the commission comes out of the vendor's margin, not your pocket.

How affiliate links are identified

I aim to be upfront about affiliate relationships. Links that may earn a commission are generally accompanied by a brief note, and the main signup button in the site navigation is an affiliate link. As a rule of thumb, if a link points to a product's signup or pricing page, you can assume it may be an affiliate link.

Affiliate links, cookies, and your data

Affiliate tracking works through cookies — a small file the vendor stores in your browser to credit the referral. That is the one place this disclosure touches your privacy, so here is exactly how it fits together:

• Which cookies get set, and why, is spelled out in the Cookie Policy.
• How data collected across the site is handled is covered in the Privacy Policy.
• If you are in the EU or UK, your rights over that data are set out on the GDPR page.
• If you are a California resident, the CCPA page explains your rights, including opting out of any sale or sharing of personal information.

You can decline or clear affiliate cookies at any time in your browser, and it will not affect your ability to read anything here.

Editorial independence

Affiliate relationships do not influence my reviews, ratings, scores, or opinions in any way. Here is how I keep it honest:

• Reviews come first. I research and score every product against a consistent review methodology before any affiliate arrangement enters the picture. Assessments are based on public information, real user feedback, and hands-on evaluation.
• Negative findings stay in. If a product has problems, I report them. A commission is never worth misleading a reader.
• No pay-for-placement. No company can pay for a higher rating or more favorable coverage.
• Transparency over revenue. If an affiliate relationship ever created a conflict I could not resolve honestly, I would drop the link rather than compromise the review.

Affiliate income helps cover hosting and keeps the site running, but it never dictates what gets written.

FTC compliance

In line with the Federal Trade Commission's guidelines on endorsements (16 CFR Part 255), I disclose the material connections I have with the companies whose products I review. This page, together with the individual notes throughout the site, is intended to fully meet those requirements. Your use of the site is also governed by the Terms of Service.
